"No, it doesn’t show shooting deer," --- that is funny. The Avedon photo does not always have to show the true person, but does need to show a true feeling or emotion or moment, something not posed. The bird shot is no doubt posed, but the other shot of her is a true moment. Nice shot. Now, get over in the studio and shoot more, shoot more, and shoot more. Stop screwing around in class and shoot more. Did I mention that you need to shoot more and practice with the strobes more? If not, you should shoot more and practice with the strobes more.
